The additions include Kansas’s 2nd, Michigan’s 1st, North Carolina’s 13th, New Jersey’s 2nd, Oklahoma’s 5th, Texas’s 9th, Virginia’s 6th and Washington’s 5th.
The additions include the following congressional districts: Kansas’s 2nd, Michigan’s 1st, North Carolina’s 13th, New Jersey’s 2nd, Oklahoma’s 5th, Texas’s 9th, Virginia’s 6th and Washington’s 5th. All of these districts voted for President Donald Trump by double digits in 2024. All but the Texas district, which was redrawn to favor the GOP, are represented by Republicans.

Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-Washington), the chair of the committee, said Democrats are “continuing to expand the midterm map into deep red territory” and accused Republicans of running “scared” as they face voters that polls show are frustrated with Trump’s leadership.
